Konstantinos Ath. Kartsakles holds a Master’s Diploma from the Department of Architectural Engineering of the University of Patras and a Master’s Degree of the program Art-Cultural Heritage-Development Policies of the Hellenic Open University. He has also been commended as a finalist in three architectural design competitions in Greece and Paris. He has participated in study groups of multi-use bioclimatic buildings and urban scale residential complexes. He dealt with the geometrical documentation of the 401 General Military Hospital in order to draw up a Fire Safety Study while he has conceived the visual and synthetic idea at the pre-study stage for the design of the Memorial to the Fallen of the Army’s General Staff in Athens. In 2021 he offered his services to the architectural office “Seva Karakosta & Maria Pomoni Architects” in Athens. Subsequently, he collaborated with construction companies, architectural and technical offices regarding tourist complexes and residences. He volunteered for the mapping of the historical center of Patras in collaboration with the Association of Architects of the Region of Achaia, while in 2021 he undertook the redesign of the logo of the Municipality of Patras based on a painting by Epaminondas Thomopoulos. Edited a number of visual communication campaigns of the Municipality of Patreon. He has been in charge of visual communication for the International Museum Day at the Historical Archive of the National Bank. At the design level, his work is based to the disciplines of Architectural Theory, Aesthetics and Art History. His research field is the search for new development policies in the Greek countryside and insular Greece.
