The logotype of the city of Patras, designed in 2021 by our office, highlights the city’s connection to art and history. Based on a painting by Epaminondas Thomopoulos, it incorporates classical Greek motifs and geometric lines that symbolize harmony and tradition. The choice of elements highlights Patras’ cultural identity, while the minimalist design makes it flexible and modern, capable of representing the city at a local and international level. The logo acts as a bridge between the city’s history and its future, while the clean, minimalist design enhances its recognizability. Its element of austerity and classic aesthetics exude timelessness and reliability, making the symbol of Patras a visual expression of its identity.
